Rani Noir
is a thirty-one year old
co-creative director for
a small advertising
agency in the city. It's
the end of the 90's, but
she's had romantic
ideals of finding Mr.
Right since she was a
child, when her father
first spun the tale of
Cinderella.
However,
to keep Rani's head out
of the sky is Rani's
best friend Addison
Caruthers, who pulls no
punches in reminding
Rani that true love
doesn't exist, nor
should she spend any
more time wasted on
trying to find it.
Rani
cannot accept Addison's
beliefs, so when she
meets business owner and
out lesbian Kendall
Avery, Rani believes she
has found her true love
finally, despite that
true love being a woman.
The
attraction is mutual,
and Kendall Avery (who's
never been in love)
gives herself wholly to
the adventure.
Unfortunately, in the
midst of their
incredible whirlwind of
laughter, fun times, and
inexhaustible sexual
appetite for one
another, Kendall becomes
aware that she and Rani
may be the casualties of
Sharon Sweeny, a black
market baby swindler
with an M.O. strikingly
similar to the real life
Georgia Tann.
Follow
Rani, Kendall and
Addison on this journey
of self-discovery, and
experience with them the
full spectrum of feeling
that comes with getting
what you wish for.
